Core Beliefs

The following are the core beliefs of Movement Church - VA based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God.

We believe in God as He has revealed Himself to us in the Bible

We believe that this one God has eternally existed as Three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

We believe that God is Lord and King over all History

We believe that God created everything that exists, and that in His original creation everything He made was good

We believe in Jesus Christ, our Savior and our Lord

We believe in the return of Christ

We believe in the Holy Spirit

We believe in Christian baptism, the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
